Welkom bij Destino, hét adres voor Spaans eten in Rotterdam. Gelegen aan de Zaagmolenkade, bieden we een unieke culinaire beleving geïnspireerd door de Spaanse keuken. Onze tapas worden met liefde bereid en combineren traditionele smaken met een eigentijdse twist. Of je nu kiest voor een avond met vrienden, familie, of een romantisch diner, onze warme ambiance en persoonlijke service maken elke gelegenheid bijzonder. Bij Destino draait alles om samen genieten van verfijnde gerechten en een ontspannen sfeer. ABOUT DESTINO
In Destino, we bring together the vibrant cultures of Spain and Rotterdam to create moments of joy and connection. Our tapas dishes are created with passion and local ingredients, combining traditional flavours from Spanish cuisine with a contemporary twist. Located on the atmospheric Zaagmolenkade, Destino is also Rotterdam’s first ever sherry bar.

our story
Destino was opened in 2010 by Niels Koomans and Nelleke Elbert, who were inspired by their frequent travels to Spain. In 2019, they sold the restaurant to the current owner, chef Reinbert Sneep. In 2025 Destino will celebrate its 15th anniversary by opening its doors on the Zaagmolenkade as Rotterdam's very first sherry bar. We would love to take you into the world of sherry and to the heart of Spanish cuisine, in the middle of Rotterdam.
Our restaurant will remain your destination for Spanish tapas in Rotterdam. We’ll keep on setting the standards for excellence in taste, ambiance and service. Now a new concept has been added: At the bar we have 10 carefully selected sherries, unique sherry cocktails and matching bites. As the first sherry bar in Rotterdam, we will introduce you to the versatility of this special drink.
